Release Notes

Every improvement, one release at a time. PAI Workstation is available for macOS and Windows; iOS and Android are not yet available.

v0.7.40

October 31, 2026
  • NewFact-consistent PAI Flow — when you correct something, the old answer is superseded across turns; invalidated results are quarantined instead of leaking downstream; every model call runs on a fixed input snapshot; and each step carries a role & model provenance badge.
  • NewLicense gate with one-click purchase — PAI Flow and non-GeneX IM now require a current-device license, while GeneX and WABA features are never locked. Upgrade right from the app when you are ready.
  • ImprovedAccount isolation hardened — signing out clears sessions, caches, and traces; the server verifies session ownership, so one account’s threads never appear in another’s.
  • NewOne authoritative AI-managed switch for WABA — a single control backed by server-side truth, so auto-replies can never fire twice.
  • ImprovedSafer upgrades — pre-upgrade backups with verifiable manifests, atomic runtime swaps, and fail-closed signature checks, so a bad update can never leave you without a working app.
  • ImprovedSmoother sign-in — the verification-code field now appears only after a code is actually sent, with clear, safe error messages when something goes wrong.

v0.7.39

October 30, 2026
  • NewWABA inbox, reorganized — three clear link states (pending / linked / unknown), an unarchived-by-default queue, archive filtering, and local favorites.
  • NewWhatsApp-style native read receipts — receipts stay honest and never silently downgrade.
  • ImprovedMail that opens fast — stale-while-revalidate lists, force refresh, race protection, and locally cached full bodies served before the network is even asked.
  • NewDevice-bound license — activation is tied to your current device with Ed25519 signature verification and a 14-day offline grace period.
  • ImprovedOne visual language across all five zones — navigation, cards, forms, messages, and dialogs unified, with restrained, purposeful motion that respects reduced-motion.

v0.7.33

October 29, 2026
  • NewPAI account sign-in — passwordless login and registration with a one-time code sent to your email or WhatsApp.
  • NewImage generation, built in — describe it, and PAI renders it right inside your thread.
  • ImprovedA full UI overhaul — inline SVG icons, unified sizing, and six polished interactions with a global motion toggle.
  • NewGeneX project filter and one-click new session — and model-visible history is trimmed to the last 10 turns for tighter, cheaper context.
  • FixedWABA sends now confirm delivery, and generated artifacts got working open/save actions.
  • FixedMail reliability — list id and sent-folder errors resolved; multi-project accounts now list account-wide conversations.

v0.7.27

October 28, 2026
  • NewConversation tabs, channel-first — a two-level structure (channel → conversation) with clear WABA naming keeps every thread one click away.
  • NewMail reading, rebuilt — a workspace-level reading view with body-on-demand loading; opening mail is faster and calmer.
  • NewProxy subscriptions — paste a subscription link to get parsed nodes, config snippets, and one-tap local port attach.
  • NewGeneX cloud channel rewired to the real mobile-client protocol (MQTT over WSS) — history and sending verified end to end.
  • FixedGeneX stream crash-loop fixed at the root — stream failures now surface as honest channel states instead of faking healthy.
  • FixedMail connection pool and cache-proof UI assets — stale caches can no longer masquerade as the latest interface.
  • ImprovedIn-app update banner and a quieter system tray.

v0.7.21

October 27, 2026
  • NewRich media chat — send and receive images, video, audio, and documents right in the conversation.
  • NewPermission tiers — sensitive actions are gated by permission level, so the assistant asks before it acts.
  • NewWindows edition enters alpha — a native Windows shell is in place and building in CI, on its way to you.
  • FixedMail self-heal — transient fetch failures now recover automatically instead of dead-ending.

v0.7.12

October 26, 2026
  • NewGmail browser authorization works end to end — bind your Google account in one click and start sending and receiving.
  • NewBuilt-in official OAuth support for Microsoft Outlook / Hotmail — no need to create your own Azure app; connect and go.
  • FixedA series of Microsoft authorization fixes — two-step mail/calendar grants, a live pre-check before you connect, and full original error messages, so binding succeeds on the first try far more often.
  • ImprovedMicrosoft email fully migrated to the official Microsoft Graph API, sidestepping the industry-wide IMAP authorization problem for personal accounts — rock-solid send and receive.
  • ImprovedMail and calendar now use a single password-free browser OAuth authorization — one grant connects both, and password-based sign-in is no longer supported. Safer and simpler.
  • NewGmail and Microsoft accounts now live side by side — email, calendar, and to-dos from both, without conflicts.
  • NewHTML email bodies now render correctly — sandboxed safe display, tracking pixels neutralized, and adaptive height.
  • NewCold-start engine — even before connecting any AI model, you can set up all five pillars: email, IM, models, calendar, and to-dos. PAI both teaches and does.
  • NewCreate to-dos in natural Chinese (“提醒我明天下午三点给客户回电话”) — just say it like a human; and one sentence to PAI kicks off password-free email binding.
  • NewComplete Telegram application form guidance — every field on my.telegram.org now comes with self-explanatory instructions; just follow along.
  • FixedZoho Mail fixes — data-center auto-matching, sending authorization restored, and the guide updated to the “Server-based Applications” type.
  • FixedUpgrade stability fixes — no leftover components after upgrades, and version verification prevents odd behavior from mixed old/new runtimes.

v0.7.0

October 25, 2026
  • NewMulti-Model Pipeline. Turn one chat window into an expert team. An orchestrator model breaks your task into steps and dispatches them to role-assigned models — architect, builder, document reader, independent reviewer — then summarizes the results. Every step is signed with its role & model badge.
  • NewFull audit trail. Every pipeline run and every step (model, latency, output) is recorded locally — traceable and accountable.
  • NewPipeline templates. One-click templates for development, content creation, and data analysis. Assign any configured model to any role; a single model can also play every role.
  • NewAggregator subscription support. One endpoint + one key with dozens of models? Configure it once, discover the full model list with one click, and assign a different model to each role.
  • ImprovedTelegram personal account setup is now bulletproof. The assistant can no longer mistakenly claim it’s unsupported — it answers with the live channel status and opens the right settings page for you.
  • New“Open settings” action. Ask PAI to configure anything multi-step and it opens the exact settings page for you.

v0.6.7

October 24, 2026
  • FixedCopy & paste (⌘C/⌘V) now work correctly inside the chat window.
  • FixedThe assistant no longer misstates that Telegram personal accounts are unsupported.
  • First simultaneous dual-architecture release (Apple Silicon & Intel) published to the official download channel.

v0.6.6

October 23, 2026
  • NewStandard Edit menu (undo / redo / cut / copy / paste / select all).
  • NewOfficial download channel downloads.people-ai.hk launched, with stable download links and an auto-update manifest (SHA256-verified updates).
  • Dual-architecture builds (Apple Silicon & Intel) published publicly for the first time.

v0.6.5

October 22, 2026
  • FixedSettings dialog no longer jumps in height when switching between tabs.
  • FixedProvider dropdowns now show short names when collapsed (Gmail / Outlook / WhatsApp…); full descriptions appear only when expanded.
  • ImprovedExternal links now open in the system browser; in-app dialogs use native macOS alerts.
  • ImprovedTelegram TDLib availability checks report staged reasons (extracting / missing / load failed) instead of a generic error.

v0.6.4

October 21, 2026
  • New“Contact Us” page with PeopleAI email and WhatsApp entry.
  • NewSmart WhatsApp deep-link chain — in-app conversation when available, local WhatsApp app when installed, web fallback otherwise.
  • NewAutomatic data snapshot before every upgrade — your data survives all updates.

v0.1.0 – v0.6.3

  • Early internal iterations. Progressive rollout of the core workstation: BYOK model configuration, unified inbox, IM aggregation (WhatsApp Business / Telegram / LINE), email (IMAP/SMTP with Gmail & Outlook browser authorization), read-only calendar aggregation, to-dos, optional outbound proxy, and the PAI assistant. Detailed per-version notes for this period are not published.
